GECCO HAS 11 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN COLLECTING THE VALORISATION OF WASTE FROM RESTORATION.

GECCO IN A FEW WORDS

First, Gecco is a Social and Solidarity Economy (SAS) created in 2007, specializing in the recovery of food waste. In short, Gecco provides answers to accompany the energy transition. Most important for us; is the ecological and solidarity transition. For that, we bring our stone to the building in the energy transition. Essentially with catering waste, we rely on innovative approaches.

Through its activities, Gecco is committed to Green Growth by helping to reduce the volume of waste. In addition, we are producing renewable energy and favoring the creation of local jobs.Or, originally focused on collection, the activity has gradually spread to the search for solutions that are beneficial for the environment and the territories. . In addition, a genuine local sector for the recovery of all catering waste has emerged.

That’s why we have developed a local value chain   Used cooking oils, and develop solutions from the leftover plate (fermentable) and coffee grounds.

  • In the first place, the  local collection   waste from producers (restaurateurs, collective kitchens, agro-food industries and households produce used frying oils, fermentables and coffee grounds),
  • After the  local valorization waste, we transform frying oils into biodiesel,
  • And, for the  local consumption   the end product (including the use of biodiesel in captive communities fleets)

OUR MAIN PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
